Dhadjowa Foundation is an independent, not-for-profit charity that receives no government funding and relies solely on donations, fundraising, and philanthropy. This financial independence allows us to remain true to our grassroots model and operate free from the constraints of government systems.
Your donation goes directly to supporting families affected by a Black death in custody and supports our operations and growth.
With your support we have been able to assist families but not limited to:
- Funeral expenses & Sorry business
- Travel expenses and accommodation during Sorry Business, inquests and court proceedings
- Campaigning & materials
- Wellbeing & peer support
Your donations also support our national campaigning and advocacy efforts.
We greatly appreciate your support, no matter how big or small, for eg a recurring weekly payment of $10 generates $520 a year towards supporting our families.
